I have never seen such a beautiful street, a track to be exact. nobody will forget it once he rests his eyes on the absorbing scenery. the track is long and straight. a great many trees stand in line on either side of the track. they are so high, big and exuberant that the track is almost separated from the outside. hence, when walking along it, you will feel as if you were in a corridor which is formed by trees. no one can understand the great nature until he is intoxicated by the perfect landscape especially in autumn and winter.

at sunset in autumn, the track has become a golden world.leaves are fluttering in the air with the wind just like the danclng butterflies. more have covered the ground, giving the track a thick yellow blanket. the trees have turned brown. they look so impressive, because here brown is the only color besides golden. so golden leaves, a golden track and golden sunshine dress up the world in a splendid gown.

at dawn in winter, however, a silver world appears before us. now everything is white. instead of the flying leaves, the white snow ornaments the world with its wonderful perform antes and the ground has changed its coat. and even the sunshine turns silver. without leaves, the trees make friends with snow and prepare themselves for the christmas. silver snow, a silver track, silver trees and silver sunshine, the silver world also has its charm.

本次八年级英语月考从试卷上看考察知识面较广，题型较丰富，灵活运用程度接近中考。题的难易程度适中。题出得比较好，但学生答得不好，高分不多，平均分较差，主要存在以下几方面问题：

1。听力测试失分原因学生平时不习惯背诵句型，课文等，再加上没有听力材料练习，故失分严重。

2。选取题失分原因学生对知识点的掌握不准确不扎实，再加上审题不仔细，导致学生自我认为会得题没有拿分。

3。完型填空和阅读理解学生失分最多。原因是学生词汇量太少看不懂，更不能正确理解文章资料。

4。补全对话失分因为学生不能按平时的指导去做，把握不住做题要领。

5。动词运用题学生没有到达灵活运用，平时练得少。

6。写作潜力太差，平时练得少，教师指导的也不够。

今后的教学我想从以下几方面改善：

1。提高课堂教学质量，备课必须要充分，教学方法灵活多样。

2。加强课下对学生的追踪力度，采用“兵教兵”“兵追兵”。

3。加大对重点知识的练习力度，练得学生一看就明白答案。

4。完型填空和阅读理解，补全对话平时多加强对学生的做题指导，主要是方法指导。每一天让学生背十个单词，翻译五个句子。

5。写作方面多练多批多改。

6。对学生进行做题技巧训练，避免因粗心错题。

为了切实提高我们的翻译能力，检查我们对已学翻译理论和技巧的熟悉与掌握程度，以及加强理论与实践相结合的能力，学校为我们提供了长达8周的翻译实习的机会。通过这次翻译实习，我想我们一定可以提高运用所学翻译知识的能力。同时，在翻译过程中遇到的问题也会提高我们解决问题的能力。翻译是一门综合性较强的学科，想要达到较理想的翻译结果，必须自己查阅大量资料，阅读大量信息，尽可能扩展自己的知识面。我很期待这次实习，因为我想我一定会学到很多不同方面的知识，提高自己自觉查询资料的能力。我已经为这次翻译实践做好准备！

根据实习内容，这周以“查阅相关文献，阅读理解翻译材料”为主。所以这周我们主要阅读了相关的全球媒体的中文资料，以及大量相关的英文资料。我发现有很多专业都是需要我们去慢慢接触，认识，然后逐渐深入了解。现在，我很喜欢学习欧洲国家媒介的历史，如果

没有这次翻译大实习的活动，我一定对很多西方国家的重要文化信息都没有接触的机会。我想这样主动的学习，记忆一定会更加深刻。

通过阅读，我了解到欧洲国家曾经因为媒体互通的问题，欧洲联盟提到过“无边疆电视”的计划，并且为此做出很大努力，很多贡献。但是由于文化、语言等差异和不同，大家都希望收看、收听、阅读自己母语的节目和书籍，所以这一计划破灭了。

周次：第12周日期：5月12日 内容： 翻译（1）创建术语表

根据实习内容，本周主要以“创建术语表”为主。我在翻译资料的时候，有一个习惯就是新建一个word文档，把遇到的生词敲在上面，然后联网在“金山词霸”上面查词，或者用《牛津高阶第六版》进行查阅，并且不定期复习这些生词和例句。

现在我在翻译实习的时候，一般也是采用这种方式，记录的形式可能有所不同，但是收获是相同的。我想，一定要记到脑子里面，那才是实实在在的。

在翻译过程中，我发现术语都出现在人名、地名、组织名称、公司名称、电信公司等。让我记忆犹新的就是“AT&T”的翻译，因为这个词在生活中比较常见，是

American Telephone & Telegraph的缩写形式，中文意思是“美国电话电报公司”。还有Rupert Murdoch，起初这个词我并没有查，因为上学期在报刊学的课上老师讲过这个人，鲁伯特·默多克，我印象尤深。他出生于澳大利亚墨尔本以南30英里的一个农场，是美国新闻和媒体经营者，目前是新闻集团的主要股东，董事长兼行政总裁。以股票市值来计算，他的新闻集团已是世界上最大的跨国媒体集团。另外，我还记住了magnate这个词，“ 巨头，富豪，权贵，大资本家”之意。联想到magnificent（宏大的，庄严的，堂皇的；(衣服、装饰等)华丽的；极其动人的；(体型)优美的，健壮的；〔口语〕顶呱呱的）这个词就更容易记了。此外，我还查到了tycoon, baron, the titan, pundit也有“巨头、大亨”之意。
